🐼 Panda Party

šŸ‘„ 2-6 players

šŸ•˜ 30-45 minutes

🐼 Panda Party is a hand management card game where you are competing against other players to lure Panda’s to your Panda Party by bidding on them using food cards. The first person to get 5 Pandas, wins!

🐼 The game set up was really simple and the instructions are well written and are easy to follow.

🐼 Each player starts with 7 resource cards to look at privately. These will consist of food cards and action cards.

🐼 Food cards are used to bid on pandas. Each food card is worth a certain number of points. Your food cards will have to total the number that is on top of the panda card you want to bid on.

🐼 NOW, when it comes to bidding. You might bid on a panda that another player might REALLY want. Now they can either outbid you by playing higher food cards OR they can play a Paws Off card. This adds more shenanigans to the game which I loved.

🐼 Action cards will help you impact other players games or gain advantages like redrawing more resource cards.

🐼 The resource deck and panda deck are set in the middle and a panda card will be revealed. That will be the panda card that is available for bidding. When a player successfully obtains a panda, a new panda card is revealed. HOWEVER, the panda deck also has SHOCK cards which can impact parts of the game which makes it that little bit more chaotic. Who doesn’t love a chaotic card game right?!

🐼 Speaking about Pandas, there are 3 different types of Panda cards. Bronze, silver and gold. The bronze ones don’t so much. The silver ones allow you to gain extra resource cards when you are successful in bidding for it and the gold panda cards give you an extra action you can choose on your turn.

🐼 There are reference cards in the pack which will help you to decide what you can do on your turn. The first thing you do is draw a card from the resource deck. THEN, you have a second action and you can one of the following: bid on a panda, play a purple action card, use a power from a golden panda in your party OR pass.

🐼 The first player to get 5 pandas in their panda party wins the game!

šŸ‘šŸ» I really enjoyed this game. I loved the cards and the illustrations of the different pandas and the names.

šŸ‘šŸ» The instructions were really easy to follow and the game is easy to pick up after a couple of turns. We only needed to look at the rule book a couple of times to clarify things.

šŸ‘šŸ» I got sent the Halloween expansion with the game and as we all know, I love Halloween so this was a major thumbs up from me.

✨ If you like card games such as Exploding Kittens and Sheeps in Disguise, this is a game you NEED in your collection.

✨ I was sent a copy of Panda Party to review by Darko & Ana through the amazing board game network I am apart of.

✨ All opinions are my own šŸ’œ
